I know I watch these movies and think, “Yeah that sounds nice. Sure, they create detours, but they do not stop her. Doubt, danger, and fear don’t stop Dory from her journey. When she feels lost, confused, and uncertain she just keeps going. Throughout this movie, and “Finding Nemo”, Dory has a phrase that she uses to motivate herself in times of trouble. Just when all hope is lost, a light shines on everything and Dory and her parents are reunited. Through adversity, whirlwind adventure, uncertainty, and sheer doom she searches and searches. In Pixar’s latest movie, Dory is trying to find her parents. If you haven’t seen either “Finding Nemo” or “Finding Dory” you need to do yourself a favor and watch these movies. My 4 year old was terrified of water and now he's swimming like a champ!
